Menomonee Park (Lannon Park) Quarry

A little bit of rain, a little bit of sun, and a whole lot of fun! The kids didn't seem to mind the temperamental weather, they just splashed away and had a great time. The beach was a big hit with everyone!

At 33 weeks, Austin gave us a little bit of a scare. Mom got to visit the hospital for a night to make sure the baby was doing alright. Mom had some brief bleeding and some mild contractions, but it all settled down. Austin's heart rate was monitored overnight and the contractions were observed to make sure Austin wasn't ready for an early arrival! It turns out that maybe Ausin just wanted a "photo shoot" to get some updated 3D ultrasound pictures! It looks like Austin already had chubby cheeks, and he is already 5 pounds 12 ounces!

Fishing with Grandma & Papa at the cottage

What a catch! We finally got brave and put real hooks on the fishing poles. Anna kept declaring: "I caught another one!" But she let Papa do most of the work! Adam loved fishing, but mom and grandma had to put all the worms on and take all the fish off the hooks!

Train ride can sure be fun when you bring 5 kids, AND you're almost 8 months pregnant!
We took a ride on the East Troy Rail Road with a bunch of our MOPS friends. (29 of us in all!) Adam and Anna got to bring along their friends Katie, Cameron, and Brayden. They all had a lot of fun together!

At 31 weeks, Austin love to really move around. He dances every morning for Anna, and really moves after mom eats. Adam smiles so bright when he gets to feel the kicks! The kids got to hear the baby's heart beat this week. The heartbeat was very steady until Anna got close. . . Suddenly, Austin's heart began to beat a little faster! Austin already knows how exciting his sister can be!

Adam and Anna got to feed the giraffes at the NEW Zoo in Green Bay! They had fun exploring a new zoo and getting to see baby swans and big tortoises. They also enjoyed the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary. . . Especially Anna, who became obsessed with gathering feathers!
